He worked and lived mostly in Northern BC but his chosen profession of heavy equipment operator took him across three western provinces and the Yukon. Included in that time was a stint in the Canadian military.
Dan made his final home in Dawson Creek where he made many friends. Even though retired, he couldn't stop from getting into a seat of something so he purchased a ride up on lawn mower and offered his services to whomever wanted it. He was kept busy all summer.
Predeceased by father Orest and mother Angie Grunert. Survived by brother Ken and family, his aunt Iris and cousins on mother's side, and many aunts, uncles and cousins on father's side.
There will be a Service and Celebration of Life for Dan on May 18, 2025 at the Bible Missionary church, 4919 48th Avenue in Pouce Coupe.
