I worked with Darryl for a short time, but we became close friends in that time. He was a kind, caring, and gentle soul. Almost one year after his passing I find myself thinking about the ways he impacted my life. The ways he helped me think outside the box, how he helped me to find the silver lining, and how he always reminded me that I mattered. My life is forever changed through my significant but limited friendship with Darryl.
