May 28, 1951 – October 23, 2022
Obituary of Deborah Mae Ramey
IN THE CARE OF

Fraserview Crematorium & Fraserview Crematorium – Cemetery Niches

Ramey Debbie Mae, age 71, of Prince George passed away on October 23, 2022 at the hospital. She was born in Baker Settlement and was the daughter of the late Earl and Lois Wentzell.

All her life, Debbie made friends wherever she went and took pride in how much she loved her family. Debbie and her husband John spent many years driving lots of places in their truck with their pets right beside them. After suffering a stroke in 2018, Debbie was moved to a long term care facility where she maintained contact with all of her family and friends throughout her stay there.

She is predeceased by her husband John, of 37 years, who passed away 15 years ago on the exact same date of Oct 23.

Debbie is survived by her three children Rob (Tiffany) Ramey of Liverpool(NS), Tim Ramey of Prince George(BC) and Cyndy(Dave) Lawrence of Prince George(BC). ‘Dammie’ is also survived by her granddaughter Shyanne Ramey of Prince George(BC).

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Mom and Dad, you are now together again and can drive off in the sunset together with Chevy and Koko by your side AND OF COURSE Prince will be barking all the way.

Although you're gone, we’re not alone,

And never shall we be,

For the precious memories of the bond we shared

Will never depart from us.

Our love surpassed the ups and downs

And helped us along the way,

And that same love will give us strength

To manage this loss each day.

On our minds and in our hearts,

Mom, you shall forever be,

For just as much as we are a part of you,

You are a part of all of us!

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in Debbie’s name.
