Douglas Jeffery Barnes (Jeff), beloved father of four, cherished grandfather of nine, and life partner, passed away unexpectedly on December 21st, 2023 at the age of 64. He was a devoted family man, known for his dedication to his loved ones, and his strong work ethic. He was committed to providing for his family, working tirelessly to ensure they had everything they needed.
Jeff enjoyed watching his grandchildren grow. His kindness, patience, and guidance will forever be treasured by those who had the privilege of knowing him. Jeff was also a devoted partner, showing love and support to his partner throughout their journey together.
Jeff is survived by his four children Douglas, Joshua, Mark and Sarah, as well as his partner Laurie. A celebration of Jeff's life will be held on April 27th, 2024 at 11:00 am at 10160 Forest Hill Place. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend and pay their respects.
