Elaine was born in Manitou, Manitoba and moved to BC at a young age. After a long career as a bookkeeper in Vancouver, she and her husband moved to a homestead near Vanderhoof where they lived like pioneers for several years. Elaine started a hobby as a chocolatier, making molded and filled chocolates. This quickly became a full-time business which continued when she moved to Upper Fraser.
Elaine enjoyed hosting dinner parties and often did a big Christmas spread for her neighbours all along the east line community.
She will be missed by many. She is survived by her daughter Sheri, step-daughter Georgina and both grand and great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Willow River Church.
