It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Ennio Andrea Tam . Father of sons Gregory (deceased), Norbert, Marcus and Adrian. Husband to his loving wife Margaret of 51 years. He is survived by his brother Efrem. Dr. Tam was a remarkable individual whose practice in medicine spanned over 49 years. He was born in Revelstoke, BC, to Italian immigrant parents, Iolanda and Giuseppe Tam. They moved to Trail, BC where he grew up. He was an academic at heart, fluent in Italian, Latin and German. He was also an accomplished award-winning classical violinist. Dr. Tam graduated from UBC School of Medicine in 1958 as a general physician and surgeon, and soon after entered practice. He married his wife Margaret in 1960, then after a few years in Vancouver, moved the family to Prince George in 1963. He soon settled in and enjoyed the area immensely because of the abundance of forests, lakes and wildlife. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Before the PGSO, Dr. Tam and other local musicians formed a group and gave classical concerts at The Prince George Playhouse and Vanier Hall. Dr. Tam was very passionate about the practice of medicine and the care of his patients. He will be greatly missed by so many. Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord and may perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. May he rest in peace.
