Ester Marie Lester Stainton

Ester Marie Lester Stainton passed away quietly on November 2, 2024 at the University Hospital of Northern British Columbia in Prince George, with her husband and son by her side. She was born in New Brunswick on November 25, 1955, the second of five children. She lived in many places in Manitoba, Alberta, Georgia and BC before finally moving to Prince George in 2007.

Ester was very caring and sociable by nature, with a quick sense of humor. She worked as a hospital nurse for many years, and took great satisfaction in helping those in need. She had a great number of friends in her life, and will be missed by many.

Ester is survived by her husband Harold William Fred Stainton; son Dean Jay Baker (Eun Kyoung Cho); granddaughter Zoe Baker; brothers Raymond Eugene (Jenny) Lester and William Wayne Lester; sister Joanne Dyck. She was predeceased by daughter Kyla Marie Baker in 1981; brother George Edward Lester in 1998; father Edward Joseph Lester in 2011 and her mother Marie Fidelia Lester in 2016.

We love you Ester. You will be missed and never forgotten.
