Gordon Geoffrey Morris

November 5, 1947 – March 2, 2022
Obituary of Gordon Geoffrey Morris
IN THE CARE OF

Assman's Funeral Chapel

Gordie Morris was born on November 5th, 1947 in New Westminster, British Columbia and passed away at his home in Prince George, British Columbia on March 2nd, 2022 after a short battle with cancer.

He is predeceased by his wife Barbara in 2010. May the tears of joy and laughter flow as Barb and Gordie are together again. Gordie is also predeceased by parents Geoff and Ena Morris. He is survived by his two younger sisters Elaine Sayers(Ken) and Barbara Mayer(Andy).

The lives of his children and grandchildren will never be the same. His life was our blessing and he will never be forgotten. He leaves to mourn his son Steve Bylica and his children Kyle Bylica and Amanda Bylica and great granddaughter ”Baby Diamond”; daughter Kim Appleton (Dean) and their boys Aaron Brown, Chris Appleton and Great Grandson Cylus; daughter Tami Morris (Torre Funk) and her son Blake Morris-Kiraly.

Gordie had many friends. He was well respected in the logging industry and was still ”running loader” doing snow removal until a few years ago. His lifelong friend Owen Butcher (Butch) and pool partner John Veld are just two of many friends who will miss him dearly.

A dog lover, he always had a dog with him and his beagle buddy Charlie is missing him tremendously.

Donations to BC Cancer Clinic are gratefully appreciated in lieu of flowers.

As per Gordies wishes, an open house will be help at the family home on Saturday March 26th from 1:00pm onward.
