To all of the Krueger Family.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time.  Rolf and I shared so many good times with Gertrud and Hans.  He was Rolf's walking partner when we were down south with Di Di and Tosca.  We will miss him very much.  He was always upbeat, with a happy smile and good sense of humour. I thought of Hans as the grandpa I never had, I am so grateful to have had him in my life from the start. I will forever miss his kind words, wonderful sense of humour & twinkling blue eyes. Heaven is a better place for having him. Love always. xx

Tante Gertrud, Harold, Janet and the whole Krueger family. Onkel Hans will really be missed. I'll always remember his gentle, kind nature and welcoming smile. His sense of humour brought joy to those lucky enough to be around him.

Condolences and many warm memories of a long life lived from Egon Krueger and the family, Dora, Irene, Vic, Jessica, Guenther and Barry. We all came to Canada so many years ago with a sense of new hope and adventure. This was the generation that gave us all so much and made our lives what they are today. Dear Onkel Hans, you were so loved by so many.  Mom used to love telling stories from when you were little, about how happy you always were, how you could make her laugh, and how you would 'tell it like it is'. And that is how I remember you - happy, unruffled and honest.  You and Tante Gertrud had a gift for hospitality and warmly welcomed everyone to your home with good music, laughter and the finest meal ever!  I have so many wonderful memories of you.  One that has stuck with me was, "Hmm... And again I say, 'hmmm'."  Thank you for all you shared with me.  You made a difference in my life.
