She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ervin, her two sons and their wives, Darin and Lisa, and Dale and Dawn, and her three grandchildren, Derik, Emma and Ryan.
A dear friend to many, Irene is remembered for her beautiful smile and her love of life. Some may remember Irene from the Scotiabank in the Hart where she worked as a bank teller for nearly 30 years.
