Mum, better known as Lesley, enjoyed a wide variety of hobbies/activities including: Crosswords, gardening, showing Maltese dogs and Persian cats, and beating Deb at Yahtzee! She was especially fond of teasing anyone she could!
Mum was a woman who had a naughty sense of humor, a stubborn streak, yet a gentle and caring heart. She loved animals so much. She rode horses when she was young and spoke fondly of them often. She would feed the crows around her place so they wouldn’t be hungry. Mum adopted a feral cat and her kittens and they lived under the porch for a very long time.
She didn’t tell you she loved you, but she showed it in many ways. Her eyes would light up when I spoke about my siblings and her grands. She loved her parents tremendously, right to the end.
After a short period of health issues, mum passed with her children, one of her grandchildren and 2 of her greats around her. We were fortunate to be able to say goodbye to her and spend some quality time with her before the end.
We love you, Mum!
