Don and Family, so sorry for your loss.  Jan was a beautiful person inside and out; her love of family and friends, her smile, her words of wisdom, her inner strength, her strong ethics - this is her legacy.  Truly a great person, she will be missed dearly, but I wish in time that your precious memories will bring you comfort and peace.  There is a new bright star in heaven shining down on us. Don and family: we don't need to emphasize how special Jan was in our mutual friendship that began in Ocean Falls in 1970. Lasting 46 years speaks to that friendship. Jan was a talented, ethical, and knowledgeable person. Her dedication to you Don was outstanding and her love as a mother for her children was beyond words. We sure enjoyed our times together holidaying in Palm Desert. Fond memories will last forever. "The time had come for the scent of the rose to cling to the hand of she who always gave."

My role model over 25 years. Always be missed and never to be forgot for me. So sincere and cared like know one else.

So many family memories - holidays, shared meals and lots of light-hearted fun - like the time I took out the corner of your house with my car or when Don remodeled your bathroom with a chainsaw!  Or how about those long late-night phonecalls with Marlyn?

Jan was a beautiful person who enjoyed life and loved her friends and family. She will be greatly missed.  My thoughts are with everyone during this sad time.

I met Jan at the pool a number of years ago and really enjoyed our talks as we got to know each other.  She was a wonderful person that will be missed.  We talked lots about our families and she loved everyone of you dearly and so proud of her family. .  There are not many people as caring and so easy to talk to.  Think of her often.  So sorry for your loss.

We have fond memories of the sock hops at your Drayton Valley home on Saturday's in the early 60's. Unfortunately Father Time has prevented us from reconnecting.

Don and kids......sending love and strength to you.  Jan was special and warm and kind and we are better for having known her.  She was always fun to be around and also someone in whom you could confide your deepest secrets.  And often did and then spent hours analyzing them!!  We will miss you Jan. Heaven is a bit brighter now.

So Sorry to hear of Jan's passing. We have always had nice and good memories of Jan and you Don from our days in Ocean Falls in the late 1960's. It was so nice to keep in touch with you both over the years. Just wish we could have seen more of each other over the years but our having lived on the east coast for several years this was not always possible.
