It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jerry Duchnych. He passed in his 80th year on December 8, 2011. Jerry was raised in Caslan, Alberta and later moved to Prince George where he and his wife, Marie, raised their seven kids. Jerry worked for many years in the logging Industry in and around Prince George. He loved his fishing, hunting and was an avid card player. In his later years he loved nothing more than playing bridge with his friends. He is survived by his six kids; Florence, Shirley, Don, Roy, Bill and Lorraine, two brothers Don and Richard, one sister, Mary and many grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Marie and his daughter, Marilyn. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 15 at 11:00 A.M. at the Prince George Memorial Park Cemetery.
