It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Thomas Harvey on June 9th, 2025, age 71. John, a long time resident of Prince George, passed away peacefully at the Prince George Rotary Hospice House surrounded by his loving family.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Leslie, his son Damon (Marie-Helene) daughter Jessica (Gordon) and grandson’s Jaykob and Raphael and bonus grandson Luka.
John was born on December 14th, 1953, in Kamloops BC. to Thomas George Harvey and Lauretta Harvey (nee Pratt).
John graduated from NorKam High school, and continued his education at BCIT. Earning his degree in Mechanical Engineering Technologist.
He moved with his wife to Prince George in 1974. An auto enthusiast, he spent many years as a member of the PG Corvette Club.
The family would like to thank Dr. Zhang for her excellent care as well as the Prince George Rotary Hospice staff.
At John’s request, there will be no service. There will be a small family only celebration of life.
As a loving husband, father, and grandfather he will be greatly missed.
