Leland Richard Bleecker passed away peacefully at home on October 17, 2024 surrounded by family and friends. He was born October 8, 1946 in Spokane Washington. Lee worked in School District #57 as an educator and principal for over thirty five years and was well loved by his students and staff. Lee was a passionate hunter & fisherman and loved family above all else. He was an amazing husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. He will be missed by all his family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Marion Bleecker, as well as his sister Mary Ann Readman. Survived by his wife of over 54 years Margie Bleecker, sons Shaun (Wendy) and Jerry (Janice), and daughter Connie (Mike). His
stories will live on with his grandkids Amanda, Daniel, Savannah, Trace, Victoria, Tyson and Felicity, as well as great grandkids Karson, Kylah and Kenzie.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society. We were amazed with the compassionate care we received from the Home Hospice team, Dr. Devon Reddy and the nurses at UHNBC in FMU.
A memorial service will held on October 26, 2024 at 11:30 at the Bon Voyage Banquet Hall.
