Les is predeceased by both his parents; his sister, Sharon; his brother, Dan; his grandson Kyle and his son, Eric.
He is survived by his loving daughter and son-in-law, Lesley and Mark Munro; his sister, Patricia Newman; his brother, Bill Blake-Knox; his grandchildren, Kelsey, Kaitlyn, Mitchell, Mikayla, Dylan and Arianna; his nephew and niece, Don and Kelly Blake-Knox, his nephew, Everett Newman; and many other relatives and friends.
Les was a caring, genuine person and will be remembered fondly by those who knew him for his great (sometimes dirty) sense of humour, his love of fishing and the outdoors, and his passion for food.
Les requested no funeral service and his ashes will be interred at a later date during a private family gathering. Les’ family would like to thank Dr. Nadeem and the nurses and staff at both the University of Northern British Columbia and the Prince George Hospice Society for all of their kindness and assistance.
