Having worked with Matt for 14 years, we knew him as the most incredible person, colleague, and friend. Always happy, helpful, and kind, so talented -there was nothing he could not do or fix, he would "think on it" until he had a solution for everything thrown at him. His patience was truly a virtue, and I know he is greatly missed. Wishing comfort to all Matt and Leah's families and to our Citizen family. Dave and Debbie Paulson, Victoria, BC

Although I didn't know Matt and his family very well due to the recent blendings of the congregations, they were still my brothers and sisters and my heart goes out to their families. How we look forward to being reunited with them soon. Agape, Kim Watkins

Matt was not just a great athlete and family man, but a great friend.

With his smiling attitude, positive spirit and a fierce competitive drive, I will always remember him being a gentle and kind person

He's someone I thank that I had known in my life as a friend and I know that where he is now he is looking down on us with a huge smile.

I'll keep putting my time in at the tennis court in your honor, Matt.

Lots of love

Matt you will be very much missed at the Tennis Club. Seeing your smiling face everyday would light up the club. I will never forget our poker nights at the club and how you taught me how to play. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
