Norman Ropchan May 16, 1922 - Dec 26, 2013 Norman arrived in Prince George in 1950, met and married Vonda Unruh. They went on to have four children: Cheryl (deceased), Allan, Sharlene Greenwood (David) & Kim. He has two granddaughters: Jamie Ropchan & Claire Greenwood and his surrogate daughter Jo-anne. He also leaves six remaining brothers & sisters. Norman loved his family, that was his reason of life. He will be remembered for his great perogies and Sunday dinners. Thank you to the wonderful people at Simon Fraser Lodge, the Y-ladies, Dr. Hagen. Dr. Schakking and Dr. Mann for the last days. He will be missed, but we're glad he has gone home. Service will be held at St. Michael and All Angels Church on 5th & Victoria St, Friday, Jan 3rd, 2014 at 10:00 am. Burial to follow.
