💕It seems that I am most fortunate as Ruth has always been a part of my life. My favourite memory of Ruth is when I was in University in St. Albert 2009-10 and it was the weekend of my birthday. Imagine my surprise when my classmates brought in a cake and sang happy birthday and there was a Ruth with them. She didn’t know who’s birthday it was but thought she join in as she would be our professor the next week. It was quite a surprise for her too for she never expected to see me there. 💕 We had such a good time that week reminiscing and laughing. We made plaster masks of our faces by plastering right on our face. Mine stuck and Ruth thinking we were goofing around gave it a good yank. Ripped my one eyebrow right off. !! I never heard her laugh so hard and soon everyone was laughing and didn’t know why. 💕 I always admired Ruth as she was always so hardworking, honest and fun loving. Family and friends were always so important to her💕 Whenever she comes to mind it is with a deep admiration and fondness of which she is so deserving. My condolences to her family...thinking of you 💕💕

I’m so grateful that I was able to visit my cousin Ruth and my family in PG in September of last year. Ruth has been a role model for me since I was a young child. She never knew this but I used to imagine myself being a helper of some sort just like she was and I did end up fulfilling my dreams due to Ruth’s influence. She also is responsible in large part for my interest in spirituality and alternative healing methods. She’ll always be in my thoughts and in my heart as she always has been. She helped me and many people in many different ways and I’ll forever be grateful for her love and generous spirit. Much love Ruth.

I am so grateful that I was able to visit with Ruth in November and after Christmas. To spend time with her and our mutual friend Olive and meet some of her family in PG was a true gift. My heart goes out to Les, Amber, Jessica and all of Ruth's sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews and her extended family as well as her vast circle of friends. Ruth was a dear friend and great colleague. She took me under her wing when we met and shared so many teachings with me over the last 10 years. Hiy Hiy, my friend, you are now with the ancestors watching over us. You will be so missed. Kathleen xox
