OBITUARY

Susan Carol Metcalf

October 1, 1953 – November 14, 2021
Obituary of Susan Carol Metcalf
IN THE CARE OF

First Memorial Funeral Services Lakewood Chapel

At age 68 years old, Susan suddenly passed away in her home in Croydon B.C. on November 14, 2021.

Susan was born October 1st 1953 in Seattle, Washington.

She was adopted by her parents Dave and Millie Bewley in 1958. 3 short years later baby Todd was adopted. Susan loved having a live doll to play with and dress up.

In the early 70’s she moved to Port Alberni, Canada, where she met her future husband Bill.

They got married soon after they met. Susan and Bill moved to the Robson Valley in the mid 70’s.

They were a big part of the Robson Valley Art Council. They also helped teenagers with counselling both on Vancouver Island and in the Robson Valley.

Susan worked for the Robson Valley Home Support Society for numerous years.

Susan and Bill ran the Wildlife Holding Facility, taking care of injured and orphaned animals.

She had a great love for animals, her tatting, crafts, sewing, and of course gardening. But…... There’s nothing more that she loved than her family.

Susan will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
