

Born in Port Alberni, Wanda later met the love of her life, Dave, and they were married in New Westminster in 1971. In 1976, they relocated to Prince George, where together they raised their family and built many cherished friendships that lasted a lifetime.
Wanda held her family and community of friends close to her heart and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was predeceased by her parents, Eric and Leona Tyers; her brother, Gordon Tyers; her brother-in-law, Ron Hoffos; and her beloved granddaughter, Kenzie Boivin.
Wanda is survived by her loving husband, Dave Boivin; her daughters, Jocelynne (Terry) Kenmuir and Chrissy (Jason) Bassani; and her son, Jeff (Jodi) Boivin. She is also survived by her sister, Beverley Hoffos, and her brother, Doug (Tara) Tyers. Wanda will be deeply missed and forever loved by her “6 Pack.”
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, February 24th, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Prince George Golf and Curling Club, 2601 Recplace Drive.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses, staff, and volunteers at Rotary Hospice House for the exceptional care and compassion shown to Wanda during her final days.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rotary Hospice in Wanda’s memory.
