BLUEFIELD, WV- Jean Doyle Boothe, 86, of Bluefield, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Princeton Community Hospital.
Born September 24, 1931 in Bluefield, WV she was the daughter of the late Ernest Holland Doyle, Sr. and the late Elsie Ruble Doyle. She worked for many years at the Matz Hotel as a secretary.
She was a charter member of the Maple View Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Mack Boothe; sisters, Mabel Doyle, Ruth Davis, and Edith Blackburn; brothers, Billy Doyle, David Doyle and Ernest Doyle, Jr. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving son, Vernon Carr and wife, Becki, son, Joey of Winterville, NC, and daughter, Sandy Lilly and husband, Daniel of Beckley; step-children, Sandy Baldwin of AK, Frances Priddy and husband, Warren of AZ and Tim Boothe of TX; many grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and a very special great-great-nephew, Kaden Adams.
Services to celebrate the life of Jean Doyle Boothe will be held 4:00PM Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Roselawn Funeral Home, 450 Courthouse Road, Princeton with Minister Tony Reed officiating. Following the services Jean will be entombed at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton. Family and friends will be serving as pallbearers.
Friends may gather with the family Monday, July 2, 2018 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at the funeral home.
