

Born in Pettrey, WV she was the eldest daughter of the late James and Annie Ruth Rogers Hubbard. She was the lead pianist and singer for the Hubbard Sisters in the 1960’s. She was a nurse’s assistant in Princeton Community Hospital until her husband swept her off her feet in 1972. She had become a mother and a homemaker ever since. She was a member of the Fresh Harvest Assembly of God in Morgantown.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Coy N. Stanley, Sr and Elzy Stanley.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Anita E. Copenhaver and husband, Clint, of Morgantown; son, Coy N. Stanley, Jr and fiancée, Mary of Kannapolis, NC; sisters, Freda Brakefield of Princeton, WV, Joyce Walker of Princeton, WV and Carol Larue of Lerona, WV; two granddaughters, Jazlyn Stanley and Alicia Copenhaver; and two grandsons, Ryan Copenhaver and Ethan Copenhaver.
Services to celebrate the life of Lillian M. Stanley will be held 11:00AM Monday, September 28, 2015 at Roselawn Funeral Home, 450 Courthouse Road, Princeton with Pastor David Hood officiating. Family and friends will be serving as pallbearers. Follow the service Lillian will be laid to rest at Roselawn Cemetery, Princeton.
Friends may gather with the family Sunday, September 27, 2015 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at the funeral home.
A special memorial service will be held at a later date at the Fresh Harvest Assembly of God, Morgantown.
