Martha J. Sargent

Born December 25, 1944 in Glenville, WV, she was the daughter of the late Ennie McCord and Genevieve McCord.

She was a homemaker, a member of the Bedford Church of God and former member of the Mullins Church of God.

Martha will be sadly missed by her husband, Roger L. Sargent of Bedford, VA; three sons, Roger Sargent of Herdon; Charles Sargent of Mullins; Mikel Sargent and wife Marsha of Black Eagle; two daughters, Kathy Laughton of Farmington, NH; Sue Williams and husband Kevin of Moneta, VA; one brother, Eugene McCord of Dusk Camp, WV; two sisters, Sue McCord and Virginia Black of Dusk Camp, WV; 11 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 23, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor J.L. Riffe officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to service.

Entombment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Family will serve as pallbearers.
