Nelson "Doug" Douglas "Doug" Hunt

Born December 10, 1937, in McDowell County, he was the son of the late William Anderson and Effie (Mitchem) Hunt.

Doug attended the First Church of God in Welch and loved being outdoors, fishing, hunting and playing horseshoes.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother Roger Lee Hunt, sister –in-law Peggy Sue Hunt, brother-in-law Paul Leonard Hall and nephew Bobby Ray Hall.

He will be lovingly remembered by sister Ruby K. Hall of Bluewell, WV; brothers Rufus Elmer Hunt and wife Julie of Largo, FL; Kenneth William Hunt and wife Barbara of Princeton, WV; Lelan Dale Hunt of Roderfield, WV; sister-in-law Shirley Hunt; special sister-in-law Vickie Lynn Matney of Hemphill, WV and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Nelson will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel, 450 Courthouse Rd., Princeton, WV, on Tuesday, May27, 2014, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. with the funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
