Oscar David Darago born January 3 1932, in Ashland, WV to the late Mike and Ora Bell Wyatt Darago, passed on November 24, 2018. Oscar served in the United States Army for 2 years, and retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of loyal service. He loved the great outdoors, fishing, hiking, gardening, and was an all-around naturalist.
Oscar was a loving and devoted family man. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Lorraine Elizabeth Darago, Brothers Mike Darago, Garland Darago, Steve Darago.
Survived by his brothers Carl, George and Danny Darago. Children, Jeffrey Lynn Darago (Vanessa Darago) R.A.Darago, and Cathy Reeser; Grandchildren, Amanda Walters, James Darago, Amy Darago. Katelin Reeser, Kara Terry, Kali Kushner. Great Grand Children Ruth Walters and Oscar Terry, and his beloved dog and furry best friend, Herman.
Services to celebrate the life of Oscar David Darago will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home, 450 Courthouse Road, Princeton on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 11:00AM. Military Graveside Rites will be conducted by the Mercer County Veterans Honor Guard. Following the services, he will be laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton.
Friends may gather with the family Friday at the funeral home from 6:00PM until 8:00PM.
