Ronald N. Johnson

Born on August 14, 1946 in Pearisburg, VA, he was the son of the late Samuel Austin Johnson and Beulah Johnson.

Ron was a former Sales Manager for Sears, a former Sales Counselor for Roselawn Funeral Home and Cemetery. He was a member of the Princeton Elks and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Princeton, WV. He enjoyed his grandchildren, the rodeo circuit, soccer, music and he was an avid supporter for Pike View High School.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandson, Jake Stafford, and mother-in-law, Hettie Lou McClaugherty.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Anna L. Johnson; three daughters, Stephanie Stafford and husband Joe of Athens, WV; Leslie Cline of Princeton, WV; Katharine Carter of Winston Salem, NC; two brothers, Raymond Johnson of Charleston, SC; Randall Johnson of Hampton, VA; one sister, Katrina Clyburn of Roanoke, VA; three grandchildren, Sarah and Emily Stafford of Athens, WV; Tyanna Carter of Winston Salem, NC.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 27, 2011 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Randy Adkins officiating.

Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Narrows, VA. Friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael “Chuck” Cooper and E.G. “Peg” Tolley.
