Stuart “Dave” Garrett Jr., 79, passed away in Palm Coast, FL on March 21, 2019. He was a Godly man and a member of Palm Coast Bible Church.
He worked at North American Aviation later called Rockwell International in West Virginia and California. He was a Quality Control, Electrical and Infra-red Technician.
He had a passion for flying airplanes and had a private pilot license with an instrument rating, model railroads and reading.
He participated in the following Ham Radio Clubs:
- Flagler Palm Coast Amateur Radio Club
- Flagler ARES
- Flagler Emergency VE Communications Association
- Flagler React Assist.
The thing he liked most about the FPCARC was fellowship with a great group of people, the club socials, and Friday Breakfasts.
Dave was preceded in death by his father Stuart David Garrett Sr. and his mother Mary Ann Linkenhoker.
He is survived by his wife Gale of 51 years, and many cousins that he loves dearly.
A Funeral Service will take place back home in West Virginia, with a memorial service in Palm Coast at a later date to be announced.
Services to celebrate the life of Stuart “Dave” Garrett, Jr. will be held 11:00AM Friday, March 29, 2019 at Roselawn Funeral Home, 450 Courthouse Road, Princeton with Larry Roberts officiating. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton.
Friends may gather with the family from 10:00AM until time of service Friday at the funeral home.
