

Taylor was born in Maxwell, California on January 27, 1926 to Harry H. and Juanita (Taylor) Danley.
Taylor met the love of his life, Jean in Willows, California in July of 1946, and they were married on April 23, 1947.
Taylor loved to work, and was self-employed for many years. He worked in construction and brick masonry. He then proceeded to build a home for his family in Tigard, Oregon where they resided for 30 years. Eight years before he retired, he created Rock Specialties Inc. His company built rock walls throughout the Portland area. In his retirement years, he enjoyed traveling, fishing, gardening and most of all helping friends & family. He has been happy living in Redmond for 14 years.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, V. Jean Danley, children; Wayne, Patricia, Cliff, and Julie Danley, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, sister; Ethel Marie Markusen and brother Homer Danley of Maxwell, California, and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Ron Danley.
A graveside service will be held at Skyline Memorial Gardens in Portland on Friday, February 8, 2013 at 3p.m.. A Memorial service will be held at Redmond Christian Church on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 1p.m.
