Gerald was born in Brooklyn, New York on September 17, 1933 to Howard and Hazel Michael (Atkins). He married his wife, Carol on December 1, 1951 in Redwood City, California. He was a proud Marine and a Korean War vet who loved family, fishing, camping, and his church.
Gerald is survived by his wife, Carol, son David, daughter Karen, and daughter Denise (Bill) along with 5 siblings.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 6 at 2PM at the Church of Christ in Prineville. A private inurnment will be held at Willamette National Cemetery at a later date.
