

Henry(Hank) Harold Goins Born: August 23, 1941 Died: September 27, 2013. Born and raised in Lufkin, TX to Mary Magdeline Mote of McAllister, OK and Richard Harold Goins of Lufkin, TX. He joined the United States Navy and actively served until 1961. On February 3, 1962 he married Constance (Connie) Vandehey, In Woodburn Oregon at St. Lukes Catholic Church. Together they raised two children Rodney Goins of Canby, Oregon (spouse Kimberley) and Collette Stone of Mission, TX (spouse Paul). Hank will live on through his six (6) grandchildren in order of birth Sheri Nichole Goins(Lausen), Randal Scott Goins, Travis Levi Goins, Mindi Lian Sanftleben(Whittington), Tyler Jacob Goins and Jeffrey James Sanftleben and eight(8) great-grandchildren Eli, Landon, Isabelle, Ryan, Kyla, Damian(little-Hank), Roxsanne and Madison. Hank was the epitome of a hardworking man and worked for many years as a welding foreman for Bingham-Willamette (aka:Sulzer Pumps) where he retired after 30 years. One of his great work accomplishments was leading the team that built the Chunnel Machine which dug the hole from England to France. Some of Hank's great loves were hunting, fishing, sporting events, BBQ'ing, golf and laughing with friends but his greatest love was his family to which he gave everything.
Memorial Services will be held at the American Legion #122, Friday, October 4th at 1:00pm. 424 n 1 st Canby, OR 97013. Potluck will be served, all are welcome to participate.
