Howard H. Hochtritt

Howard was born in Portland, Oregon on March 1, 1925 to Oscar and Viola (Gribble) Hochtritt. He attended and graduated from Lincoln High School in Portland, Oregon.

He served in the US Navy from 1943 to 1966 as a Chief Petty Officer.

Howard worked as a Security Guard at the Federal Reserve Bank in Portland before he retired and moved to Prineville, Oregon in 1982. He was a member of the National Rifle Association.

Howard loved guns and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Howard is survived by the Purkerson’s, the Thompson’s and his friends at Golden Years.

He was preceded in death by parents, three brothers and two sisters.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Crook County Humane Society.
