

Phyllis Marie (Lister) Ticoulat passed away Wednesday, March 11th, 2013 at her home in Bend, Oregon at the age of 88.She was born in Portland, Oregon on November 10, 1924. Phyllis lived in Paulina on a ranch and attended school in a one room schoolhouse in Beaver Creek. She graduated from Crook County High School in 1942. From there Phyllis went to Oregon State College and graduated with a Business Degree in 1946. Her first job was in Portland with the State of Oregon Board of Health. Before starting work, she and a friend spent six weeks traveling the USA by train and boat with stops in Cuba and Montreal.
Phyllis met and married Bill Michael in 1947. They lived in Kansas City, Missouri, Spokane and Seattle, Washington until 1952 when they moved to Prineville and lived on the King Ranch. They had two children together Larilu and Joy.
Phyllis later married Gilbert Ticoulat in 1958 and with that relationship she inherited four more girls whom she loved dearly as her own.
During this time Phyllis worked as a secretary and then ran the Lister Ranch in Paulina after her father, Robert Lister passed away in1973. In 1984 she sold the King Ranch and moved to Bend.
Some of the things Phyllis enjoyed were golfing, hiking, cross-stitch, knitting prayer shawls (which she donated to St. Charles), playing bridge, visiting family, her sister Louise, friends, telling stories, telling jokes and just living life to the fullest. She was a Hospice of Bend volunteer for six years, a member and elder for the Prineville Presbyterian
Church.
Phyllis was by far the best mother in the whole world and truly a wonderful friend to everyone.
She is survived by her six loving daughter's; Linda Overcast, & her husband Jerry, Larilu Post, & her husband George, Sharon Russell, & her husband Joe, Joy Anderson, & her husband Michael, Diane Carnahan, & her husband Virgil, and Pamela Ticoulat. Phyllis's long time partner Edward E. Wilson, her Chocolate Lab, Coco, her sister Lousie Pike and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held at the Prineville Presbyterian Church, 1771 NW Madras Hwy, Prineville Oregon on Saturday, March 16, at 1:OO pm, with a reception following.
