Shirley A. Richardson

A graveside service will be held at Juniper Haven Cemetery on Tuesday, September 25th, 2012 at 2PM.

Shirley was born in Missouri on May 17th, 1933 to Thomas and Nellie Hurt (Dawson). She moved to Prineville in 1943, then attended and graduated from Crook County High School in 1951. She then moved to San Diego and married Hubert Richardson. They then had their only child, Pamela in 1954.

Shirley was always known as the “cool mom”. While living in San Diego, she managed one of the gift shops at the San Diego Zoo, and had plenty of free passes for Pamela and her friends.

Shirley will be greatly missed by her daughter, Pamela Richardson of Prineville, her brothers, Clifford Hurt of Albany, OR, Bradley Hurt of San Diego, CA, and Keith Hurt of Prineville, OR, sisters Imogene Connett of Redmond, OR, Wilma Ream of Prineville, OR and Wanda Price of Terrebonne, OR. She also leaves behind, her grandson Michael of Portland, OR.

She was preceded in death by parents, Thomas and Nellie Hurt.
