

Warwick A. Ursula Murphy, 78, of Centerville Road, died Friday evening at Philip Hulitar Hospice Care Center surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of James F. Murphy. They were married for fifty-five years. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late James J. and M. Theresa (Kelly) McKenna, she was raised in Smith Hill and lived in Mount Pleasant most of her life before moving to Warwick eighteen years ago. Ursula was a Claims Examiner for the State of Rhode Island, Department of Employment Security, for twenty-seven years, retiring in 1997. She was a member of AFSCME, Council 94, and a 1950 graduate of Saint Patrick High School. She was a communicant of Saint Gregory the Great Church. Besides her husband Jimmy, she leaves two daughters, Kathleen P. Beauchemin and her husband Roger C Beauchemin, Patricia J. Colangelo and her husband Steven J. Colangelo; a son, Joseph P. Murphy and his wife Sheila A. Murphy; a sister, Helen Gardiner; a brother, Gerard E. McKenna; and two grandchildren, Caitlin R. and Daniel J. Murphy. She was a sister of the late James J. "Seamus" McKenna and Mary M. "Marie" Hart. The funeral will be held Tuesday, at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Rt117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick. Burial will be in Saint Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours Monday 4 - 7 pm.
