Albert Maggiacomo, 52, passed away suddenly November 17, 2013 at home. He was the son of Marie Carmela (Graziano) Maggiacomo and the late Albert Maggiacomo; father of Mariah Garcia Maggiacomo; brother of Ronald Maggiacomo and his wife Maryann, Steven Maggiacomo, and Maryann Crudale and her husband Robert. He was the brother of the late Frank J. Maggiacomo and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
He was a graduate of Cranston High School West and the Community College of RI
Albert embraced life with a love of loud music, bright colors, and long hours in his garden. He traveled the country following the Grateful Dead and his idol, Jerry Garcia. He loved the Knightsville tradition of St. Mary’s Day that started with his great grandparents and would prepare in advance for family and friends to help celebrate and would end the night with a dazzling display of fireworks. He was loved immeasurably by his daughter Mariah and will be with her always in her music and heart. He will be remembered for his echoing laughter and adventurous nature.
