North ProvidenceAlfred A. Anderson, 71, of Metcalf Avenue, passed away on Saturday, at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth I. (Dinsmore) Anderson.Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Alfred A., and Evelyn P. (Carter) Anderson.Mr. Anderson worked as the head custodian at the Camden Avenue School in Providence for 24 years, before retiring in 1995.He leaves his seven children, Wesley W. Dinsmore, Alfred A. Anderson, Ralph C. Anderson, Daniel J. Anderson, Leroy A. Anderson, Elizabeth I. Anderson, and Evelyn P. Holton; several brothers and sisters; six grandchildren and a great grandson.His funeral with visitation will be held on Wednesday at 8:30 am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Patrick Church, 244 Smith Street, Providence. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
