Alice E. D'Alessio

Alice E. (Viglione) D’Alessio, 84, of Providence passed away February 29, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Domenico “Tom” D’Alessio and daughter of the late Joseph and Antonetta (Marsella) Viglione.

Alice worked for the SRI; DMV for 15 years and she worked for the City of Providence. She was also very active in the community serving on many boards for the State and the City as well as volunteering her time to many clubs and organizations. She was also a communicant of Holy Cross Church.

She was the loving mother of Michele, Domenico, Jr., Arnold, Michael and the late Gregory D’Alessio; sister of Salvatore Viglione; grandmother of 6 and great grandmother of 6.

Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 am from the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Holy Cross Church, Hartford Avenue, Providence.
