My husband Steve Markovitz reminded me that we spoke with Alice and her son at the Sikov’s house after seeing Bill’s play in Pawtucket. Please accept our condolences - hers was a life well lived. Karen McAninch

I am sorry for your loss. i remember being mesmerized when Alice spoke of her Holocaust experience at a docent meeting at the zoo.

Alice was special in so many ways.  She was an inspiration as a Jew, a mom, a professional woman, and a friend.  As a survivor of the Holocaust she was fierce and successful in her own life - the best revenge ever.  I loved meeting up with her at the JCC for aqua aerobics- always a smile, always striving to care for her health and family.  She will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her and her memory will surely be a blessing.  May Hashem comfort her family and loved ones with the mourners of Jerusalem and Zion.
