Alice E. Tillinghast

Alice was an Administrator for the State of Rhode Island for many years before retiring. She was an avid gardener and cherished spending time with her grandchildren. She loved the Red Sox, Celtics and Patriots.

She was the devoted mother of Stacey M. Tillinghast and her husband Kevin Litzenberger, Tracey J. Tillinghast, Sue-Ann Tillinghast-Silva and her husband David Silva, and Heather Madrid and loving grandmother of Tony Madrid, Jr., Taylor Howarth, Phoenyx Silva, Darius Silva, Liam Thompson and Freddy Thompson. She was also the sister of Thomas A. Musso, Richard J. Musso and his wife Terry, Linda M. Kirk and her husband Matthew, Donna J. Florio and the late Harry C. Musso and she leaves behind her beloved Chiweenie dog Sophie.

Her visitation will be held Tuesday, July 29, 2025 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM in the PONTARELLI-MARINO FUNERAL HOME, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence.

Funeral will be held Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 9:00 AM followed by a service in the funeral home at 10:00 AM. Graveside burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alice’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association.
