Pawtucket Allan L. "Grayfeather" Benoit, 59, died Tuesday at the Miriam Hospital. Born in Pawtucket, he is a son of Alice I. (Casto) Bociek of Central Falls, and the late Alfred T. Benoit. Grayfeather was a self-employed entrepreneur most of his life. He was a member of the New England Intertribal Council Alliance for many years. He leaves a son, Joshua N. Benoit; three daughters, Rebecca A. Benoit, Rachel E. Benoit, and Kathryn E. Casto; a brother,Alfred T. Benoit; a sister, Roberta A. Corsi; eighteen grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a friend, Shiela Casto. He was a brother of the late Joseph C. Benoit, Sr. and Donna R. Moore. The funeral service will be held Monday, at 12:00 noon, in Saint Ann Cemetery Chapel, Cranston Street, Cranston, to which relatives and friends are invited.
