

Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Louis and Mary (Szczerba) Bobola; husband of Annette (Tedesco) Bobola for 65 years; father of Louis A. Bobola of North Providence and Andrea Gansheimer of Palo Alto, CA; grandfather of Matthew L. and Kristen M. Bobola, and Craig and Sara Gansheimer; great-grandfather of Lauren Bobola; brother of the late John, Stanley, Edward and Amelia Bobola, Helen Sabatini, and Julia Dada. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Bobola had worked as a shipping clerk for The Electric Company before retiring and had served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was also an avid Red Sox and NY Giants Fan.
Visitation and funeral services will be held Wednesday, 9-10:30 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins Street, Providence. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the RI Veterans Home, 480 Metacom Avenue, Bristol, RI 02809.
