Angela "Angel" Santini Russo

Angela R. “Angel” (Santini) Russo, 98, passed away May 24, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family. Wife of the late Arthur B. Russo; daughter of the late Alfred and Christine (Boragine) Santini; beloved mother of Sr. M. Diane Russo R.S.M., Arthur “Torch” Russo and his wife Barbara, Debbie A. Lambert and her husband Richard; grandmother of Keith, Kenny, T.J. and Brad; great-grandmother of Isabella, A.J., Joseph and Capri; sister of the late Artie Coia, Carmella Palmer and Jennie Corrao. She also leaves several nieces and nephews, especially her niece Christine.

Angel was a purchasing agent and bookkeeper for Coro Manufacturing.

Visitation and funeral will be held Friday from 10-11 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. in the Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 1081 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meeting Street School, 1000 Eddy Street, Providence, RI 02905 or Perkins School for the Blind, 175 North Beacon Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
