Angela A. Minuto Girard

Angela A. (Minuto) Girard, 93, of Pocasset Bay Manor, passed away June 25, 2016. She was the wife of the late Bernard G. Girard; daughter of the late Vincenzo and Flora (Olivo) Minuto; loving mother of Florence Restum and Jeffrey Girard and his wife Sharon; grandmother of the late Jeffrey S. Girard II and Todd Restum; sister of the late Thomas and Frank Minuto, Agnes LaFazia and Florence Bucci. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Angela was a postal supervisor for the U.S. Postal Service in Providence, Branch #105 for 25 years before retiring. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and most of all enjoyed baseball, bingo and going to the beach.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, 5-7 p.m. with her funeral on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. from PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth Street, North Providence. Graveside burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
