Anita Perry

She was the devoted mother of Kristine Pontarelli and her husband, Donald of North Providence and Karen Bacon and her husband, James of Arizona. She was the cherished grandmother of Domenic and Vincent Pontarelli and twin sister of Contance Perry and her husband Donald. She was also the sister of the late Joseph J. Spicola and his late wife Jennie and Elaine C. Soares; and sister-in-law of John Soares. She also leaves several loving nieces and nephews. She was the former wife of the late Warren Perry.

The family would like to give special thanks for the care provided by the HopeHealth Hospice Center, particularly to her nurse, Eerin and her CNA’s Maria, Liz and Pam Ruggerio.

Anita was a Clerk for the Town of North Providence in both the Town Assessor’s Office and the Town Clerks Office before retiring. She enjoyed time with her family and her many trips to Twin River Casino.

Her visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and funeral will be Wednesday at 9:00 am from the PONTARELLI-MARINO FUNERAL HOME, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in the Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth Street, North Providence. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery.
