Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Carmine and Antoinetta (Diprato) Campagnone.
Ann was the Administrative Assistant for St. Anthony Church, North Providence for many years before retiring. Ann was involved with St. Anthony’s as a volunteer for many activities and she was also a Eucharistic Minister. She was also a member of the Sons of Italy, Loggia Vittoria #585 and the AARP, North Providence Chapter 4580.
She was the mother of Alphonse Gemma, IV, David Gemma and his wife Beverly and Richard Gemma and his wife Diana; grandmother of Anthony, Alyssia, Mary, Matthew, Alyssa and her husband Christopher, Joseph, Eric and his wife Missy, Jamie and his wife Samantha and Christopher and great grandmother of Adriel, Angelina, Christopher, Alessandra, Molly, Carolyn and Emilia. She was also the sister of the late Pasquale, Carmine, Dennis and Kenneth Campagnone and companion of the late Giovanni “Gigi” Giordano.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 9:30 AM in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ann’s memory to the St. Anthony Memorial Fund, 5 Gibbs Street, North Providence, RI 02904.
