

Ann B. (Manfredo) Nason, 84, of Greenville, RI passed away peacefully on August 31, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by and was the beloved spouse of George A. Nason for 57 years.
Born in Providence, Ann was the daughter of the late Peter and Elvira (Voccola) Manfredo. She worked for the former New England Telephone Company. She was also a para-mutual clerk at Bally’s Twin River Lincoln, formerly Lincoln Greyhound Park and Twin Rivers Casino.
Ann enjoyed family and friends above all else. She never failed to put her family’s needs in front of her own. She was a woman of compassion and deep faith.
Ann especially loved to cook holiday celebrations, her homemade soups - escarole and chicken - were her trademarks. Her favorite trip was an extended visit to Italy, and she was happiest when giving gifts to her family. Each present was always beautifully and elaborately wrapped.
She is survived by her sons, Gregory Nason and David Nason, his wife Nicole, and she was the cherished “Grandma Annie” to Alexandra (Alex), Abigail (Abby) and Brandon (Brady). She was also the sister of the late Louis Manfredo, older brother she dearly loved.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 4-7PM in the PONTARELLI-MARINO FUNERAL HOME, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Rhode Island
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 10:00 AM in St. Philip Church 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville RI. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston, RI.
