She was the beloved wife of the late Roy M. Burchfield; daughter of the late Angelo and Jennie (DiPalma) Antignano; devoted mother of James “Jimmy” Burchfield, Sr. and his wife Joanne, Roy “Snooky” Burchfield and his wife Debbie, Sandra Ricci and her husband Dennis, Dr. Barney Burchfield and his wife Eileen; grandmother of 7; great-grandmother of 11; sister of Fay Macari, Eleanor Arguto and the late Bob, Angelo and Joseph Antignano, Josephine Pisanello and Jessie Angelone.
Mrs. Burchfield’s life-long passion was managing the former Classic Restaurant with her son, Jimmy.
Visitation will be held Monday, 4-7 p.m. with her funeral on Tuesday at 10 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence, followed by burial in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of RI, 1210 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston, RI 02920.
