Born July 23, 1923 in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Andrea and Maria (Moretti) Papa; wife of Thomas A. Cardarelli for 66 years; mother of Thomas M. Cardarelli, Carol R. Emery and husband Leo; grandmother of Sarah (Chase) Carnevale and husband Eric; sister of Alfred Papa, Grace Paul and the late Pauline Costa, Rose Czerkiewicz, Vera Reavey, Antonio, Henry and Albert Papa.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, 4-7 p.m. with her funeral on Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, 15 George Waterman Road, Johnston, followed by burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
