He is survived by his spouse, Lillian (Volpe) Farland; his 3 daughters, Kathleen Farland, Cindy Tiodor and Lea Ferri; as well as his grandchildren Tori, Shanon and Robby; and 6 great-grandchildren. He was the father of the late Robert Farland, grandfather of the late Jacob Tella, and brother of the late Rachel Couyner, Georgette Rogers and Rhea Pierce.
Visitation Thursday, 4-7 p.m. A funeral home service will be held Friday at 10 am in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Burial with military honors will follow in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
